Jenson really knows her way around the written word and made the reader feel as though they were immersed in the world of the characters. While reading, I could feel the magic and the powers, smell the various locations from forests to city, see the characters in their roles, and experienced the feeling of dread when things got heavy. Each character was written so well, it's as though I knew each one personally. Their actions, words, and thoughts were written so clearly, it made the story come to life. The villain was also written SO well (although I HATE the person...) that it almost felt like this person was a villain in real life! Wild feeling.
