What started as a short history of my small town of Bellevue, Idaho has blossomed into a more comprehensive narrative spanning the people, places, and events that have shaped my small corner of the world. This book is primarily centered on the Wood River Valley where I have spent the majority of my life. From it’s early beginnings as a mining community, to it’s growth as an agricultural community, to it’s recreational opportunities in the present day, I have attempted to incorporate all the changes, as well as the reasons for the changes.
