In this book, the first part, from the natural and socio-economic status of the area of ""five rivers and one lake"" in Jiangxi, introduces the basic information of the study area. The second part, from the aspects of the water environment, biodiversity and wetlands of the ""five rivers and one lake"" area, introduces the status of ecologic environment, and finds the three major problems existing in the ecological environment preservation of the study area. The third part, from the aspects of land resources, water resources, energy use, mineral resources and eco-tourism resources, systematically analyzes the resource endowments and utilization situation of the ""five rivers and one lake"" area in Jiangxi, and finds the four major problems existing in the comprehensive development and utilization of resources. The fourth part analyzes the resource bearing capacity of the ""five rivers and one lake"" area in Jiangxi, with the ecological footprint theory, and forecasts the scenes in 2015 and 2020.
