As I began to restore these photos, I was stunned to see the difference between the original photographs, that were in such bad condition, compared to the restored black and white photos, and especially compared to the colorized photos. In the back of the book, there are smaller versions of the originals so you can see the comparison, and the black and white versions that I restored are in a separate book. Some people prefer the sepia originals, some prefer the black and white versions, and some prefer the colorized versions. So this book showcases the colorized versions, and I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do.Between this book and the black and white version (Edward S. Curtis: His Photographs Restored to Black & White), it took nearly two years to fully restore these. Some AI software was used, but the majority of each photo was done by hand. Very time consuming, but well worth it.
