Adultery, pornography, illicit relationships, and emotional affairs are all too common in Christian homes and churches. When the sin of moral failure and betrayal is discovered or confessed in a marriage, the wounded spouse is left in the ashes of a relationship that they thought was safe and solid. What is that spouse to do? So many “voices” in this world conflict in their opinions. This book is the companion to the book, DESPERATE FOR RESTORATION by Dan Hubbard. While the book is a stand-alone, EMBRACING RESTORATION together with DESPERATE FOR RESTORATION offer a biblical worldview of God’s heart for restoration as well as many practical truths to ground one who has fallen into sin or one who has been deeply wounded by one who has fallen into sin. The book has been written to come alongside a spouse, family member, friend, or church member who wants to respond well to the understanding that theirs is a relationship under attack. It offers perspective, hope, and biblical Truth to hold onto in the waves of grief that come as one processes the moral failure of their closest relationship. My desire is to use our story to encourage others who must walk the difficult path of EMBRACING RESTORATION.
