A man of peace, reconciliation, and love, Patriarch Athenagoras left an indelible mark wherever he served God's Holy Church. His contributions to the Church in the United States and in particular to Holy Cross School of Theology were of fundamental importance, as were the personal impressions he made on all to whom he spoke and embraced.
