The national traits are not unchanging, from the Spring and Autumn Period to the Tang and Song Dynasty and to the Ming and Qing Dynasty, the Chinese characteristics deteriorate like the waterfall. The Chinese in the Spring and Autumn Period were pure and honest, in the Tang dynasty were vigorous and bright, encouraging a warrior spirit, yet since the Ming and Qing Dynasty, the immoral behaviors increased, which was closely related to the development of autocratic system. Through the observation of the Chinese national traits from the world view and analysis of the evolution of the Chinese national traits in historical perspective, the author believes the national human wickedness was created by the backward system. Since modern China, Liang Qichao, Lu Xun, Mao Zedong and many others tried hard to transform the national traits but with little effect, because the national traits were rooted in the system. The Chinese do not have filterable germs, so to transform the national traits have to start from the reform in the system.
