Welcome to Explore Color, Inspire Creativity. I am extremely passionate about design, art and color. I believe that our colorful surroundings significantly influence both our emotions and our creativity. This book was created from a class I taught at the Boys and Girls Club in Mt. Vernon, New York. It offers six thoughtfully crafted lesson plans and 72 pages of interactive activities with a final project that I developed for students aged six and older. This book provides the tools to foster collaboration and innovation in after school programs. I hope to be able to help young students connect with colors in a way that teaches them self-expression, self-confidence and creative decision making.
