I have never personally known anyone who miscarried and I could never imagine their pain. This book has opened my eyes in a big way. Rachel writes in such an open manner that you can feel the raw grief, the emotions pouring off the pages as she talks us through her story. She talks of how it affected her and her husband and she really doesn't pull any punches. In such a short book, we are taken on a journey from deep joy to deep pain, a story that she hopes will change the way people see miscarriages. This was a deeply emotional book, one that I am incredibly glad to have been given the opportunity to read. I defy anyone who reads it not to feel her pain.
