As my connection to food matured, I realized that the love I felt was different but the same love as anything else I indulge in. I begin to ponder my love languages and quickly realized food is at the top of the list. Food is a love language! Whenever I think of food, I get happy, and sometimes even dance. I have witnessed people eating my food make all sorts of noises, dance, and acknowledge the love. The food you eat has a tremendous effect on your mind, body, and soul. Consider your thoughts and mood when you're shopping for food, keep a journal of what you eat and how you feel, then implement small changes. The recipes in this book are inspired by my favorite dishes I prepare for family gatherings or celebrations.
