Plants grow from anywhere between 2-5 feet, and are ready to be harvested when the pods are full to the touch for fresh beans, and after the pods have dried for dried beans. To eat the beans, pods and skin should be removed and then beans should be cooked. Beans can also be stored in the freezer or in the fridge with oil for fresh beans, and in a cool dark place for dried beans.
