Poems for your soul. For when you need a reminder that all is ok, and that we really are all one. Divided into sections of Life, Loss, Love, Mother Nature, I'm Alive, My Body, and a little bonus. ~~~ I didn’t plan on writing poetry. It came to me one day after writing a poem on my Instagram: @annapatch_ and a friend said: “This is good, you should write more.” I think from this moment forward something clicked in my brain. It’s special because my Mum, Alison, wrote poetry, and I deeply believe my artistic talents, pursuits, and ideas are her legacy to me, energetically and physically handed down to me from her. This book is dedicated to her, and she was with me as I wrote. I am an actor, I am creative, ideas just flow to me, sometimes they stop and sometimes they need a break, but once I am back in alignment, they flow. I can be sitting in a bath and an idea for a feature film hits me, or I’ll be sitting in the kitchen at 10pm at night listening to music and I’ll write 10 poems (yes, you will read them here). Inspiration is everywhere and it’s up to you to be open to receiving it. I am so excited for this book to be out in the world, in your hands. I believe we are physical manifestations of our soul’s purpose. My purpose, is to inspire you to live your best, most aligned and authentic life that is full of love, joy, freedom and so much abundance and wealth. Why? Because you deserve it and you wouldn’t be here for any other reason. This book is my baby; my heart and soul on pages. It’s a journey of my life, experiences and people I’ve encountered. It’s something you can pick up when you need a reminder that life is here for you, and that anything you are feeling is normal and OK. It’s a reminder that you have magic in your soul and that you are made of stars. Please keep following your truth and your purpose. By doing so, I promise you, that the stars will always guide you. ~~~~ Anna Patch is a creative, an artist. She is an actress, model, writer and creative mentor. She lives her life with creativity and freedom. Seeing the world for what it is, full of opportunities and abundance. Her first book, ‘For the One with Stars in her Eyes’ is a book of poetry based on her life as a human and a soul. The ups and downs of love, life and loss. We see the beauty of life shine through Anna’s writing and imagery. ‘For the one with Stars in her Eyes’ is a dedication to her mother, Alison Claire Tuck who passed away from a very rare brain disease in 2017. Anna was inspired, and still is by her mother Alison. Through her creative works of acting, writing and creating content, she is able to connect to this innate love for life, and creativity. For as long as she can remember, she has always wanted to act, and is now acting full time whilst creating her own content and expressing her creativity in multiple other pursuits. It was during the ‘COVID-19’ 2020 world wide pandemic that Anna Patch was inspired to write her first poetry book ‘For the one with stars in her eyes’. A year of confusion, heartbreak and letting go of control. But also a year of magic, abundance, self growth and love. She felt the call to share her life experiences for others to experience with her, because in one way or another we are all one. ‘For the one with Stars in her eyes’ is for those souls that know there is more out there for them. That they are innately made of stars and can see where they are going. That life is filled with so much magic, if only you have the courage to go for it. It shows that no matter what happens in life, the stars within you, will always be shining. Keep shining.
