The Ford Falcon Performance Portfolio 1960-1970 tells the story of the birth and development of the Ford Falcon from 1960 to 1970. The book is made up of contemporary articles that include: Road and Comparison Tests • Driver’s Impressions • Specification and Technical Data • Design Development and New Model Introductions. Models covered include: Wagon • Fordor Sedan • Futura • Futura Convertible • Futura V8 • Sprint Coupe 6 • Futura Club Coupe • Futura Sports Coupe • Ranchero V8 • Futura Station Wagon. Introduced in 1960 the Ford Falcon was designed as a compact line to combat European imports with simple styling, engineering and an unexciting engine. The Futura changed all this when it was fitted with a 260 V8 engine to compete with the Chevy Corvair Monza. In 1965 it was upgraded and the 289 V8 installed along with a new larger body design that lasted until 1970. Used Book in Good Condition

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
