From the dawn of creation through the fall of Adam and Eve, we in the supernatural world have watched humankind, and even our own, grapple with sin by making wrong choices. The sin in the garden in Eden, the destruction of the world by the flood, and the Tower of Babel were all tragedies that consumed humanity. The continued wickedness on earth led the Lord to separate Himself from the peoples of the world's nations. God chose a people to be His own and to witness to the nations that He had abandoned. From the soil of Israel came a country, the Hebrew people chosen by divine decree. From these people sprang the promised seed of Eden's woman. One day, her seed would bring forth the long-awaited Deliverer, who would save Israel and the nations and lead them back to God.
