Made from a single piece of anodized extruded aluminum, each of the Fulton T-tracks are designed for creating jigs, fixtures and even track tables for your work shop! Add the intersection kit and you have the ability to make a table top that allows you to move hold downs, clamps and more from end to end without removing them. Track tables are great for framing, pocket hole drilling, pocket hole joint securing, sanding, planing and a whole lot more! The unique universal, double cut profile pulls double duty since it accepts two types of bolts. The track will accept standard 1/4” hex head bolts and 5/16” T-bolts. This makes this type of track extra versatile and very handy in your workshop. If you don’t have either size of these two bolts, both sizes are readily available at most any hardware or big box store. Each track measures 3/4” wide by 3/8” tall which makes milling the slot very easy. The track can be used in a wide variety of ways including on top of fences for adding jigs and fixtures. The track can also be used by embedding them into table tops or workbenches to give you a long hold down run. The 3/4” x 3/8” also allows you to use the track in a standard 3/4” x 3/8” miter slot like a standard miter bar. Simply attach a few smaller pieces to the bottom of a sled and you’re ready to go. As with the track, the included intersection kit is made from the exact same aluminum material. The intersection kit is designed to give you the ability to cross over fixtures from one end of a table to the other end and change location throughout the table top without removing the fixture. This comes in very handy when framing, sanding, planing and other typical woodworking applications. When securing the track or the intersections kit, you can use the included wood screws by themselves or you can use a polyurethane or epoxy adhesive along with the screws. We typically will only add adhesive when extra clamping pressure will be required. Each track is pre-drilled and counter sunk to comfortably accept the wood screws.
