There are many testimonials to the animals that enrich our lives, make us laugh and give us the unconditional love we all cherish. Jean S. Barto was raised in New York City and has always been an ardent animal lover. She is a graduate of Connecticut College with a degree in Fine Arts. She taught art in elementary and middle school, and later worked as an interior designer. She was college registrar at Harcum Junior College, and taught there in the interior design department. Jean also has a Pennsylvania real estate license. Recently she and a friend compiled a book of memories from over a hundred contributors, entitled Humor, Heartache and Harrowing Tales, and wrote What Are You Bringing to College A Guide for Girls.
