Waltham 29x1 Broccoli seeds are a favorite among gardeners for a good reason.  This is a prolific variety that produces heave, dark green heads of broccoli packed full of nutrients.   When you harvest broccoli, you can leave the side shoots, and they will produce more broccoli spears for you.  This variety is dark green (sometimes with a slight blue hue) and has the most delicious flavor.  This broccoli will love the cool seasons of spring and fall and can be planted for both your fall and spring gardens.

Make sure to start your broccoli plants indoors 3-4 weeks before you want to transplant outside for best results.  Most zones don't have a long enough growing season to sow directly outdoors.
