Celery UT 52-70 is perfect for the gardener with a short growing season.  Stalks can be harvest earlier than other varieties when it reaches just 6" in height.  This variety is perfect for the gardener with small growing spaces and short growing seasons.

For best results, start indoors 10-12 weeks before the last frost.  Seedlings can be hardened off and actually transplanted out into the garden before the last frost.  This plant can withstand some cooler temperatures.  That makes it a great variety to put into your spring, fall, and winter gardens.  

You can begin to harvest celery when the stalks have reached 6" in height.  You can also let them grow taller as well.  When it is time to harvest, cut the celery at the base with a sharp knife.
