After 'The Carrying Place, German Flats 1750-1794 was published, I had thoughts of a second book of the families from my first book. As many of my published books, they to continue to the next generation. This continuations of the two families that were still in this once wilderness and along the Mohawk River was now seeing and being involved in so many historical times from 1794-1825. With two major wars behind them, they see the future of the Mohawk River, and a strong family relationship that only grows stronger from one generation to the next. The sudden and powerful growth does not pass them by. Thier love of their families, and their love of the Mohawk River brings happiness and wealth to each one in many ways. Their roots grow deep and never forgotten when they first arrived on the muddy banks of the Mohawk River.
