This paper presents the immigrants ships and their passengers that immigrated to Brazil from Germany in the years 1824 to 1830, the time frame which is considered the the first official period of German immigration to Brazil. The Brazilian states that received the immigrants contemplated in this work are the following: Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Paraná and Pernambuco. In addition to the data of the vessels involved, wherever possible, passengers are referred. Forty-two transatlantic sailboats are addressed, bringing the most complete passenger lists possible at the present time. The book presents more than one hundred and thirty bibliographical references that the reader may use for deepening the study.
