BEST SELLER - ENGLAND TRAVEL - *General England Travel Guides * Ghosts & Hauntings * England History Explore England, History and Hauntings! What happens when a medium goes on vacation? Can a medium simply switch off their ability at will? Well…not exactly. Rob Gutro is a medium/author/paranormal investigator and a scientist shares his experiences on two separate trips to the United Kingdom. England’s rich history and many epic battles have caused an over-abundance of residual emotional energy. Everywhere he traveled, he had a paranormal experience. He explored royal palaces and spent the night in haunted castles. He encountered the ghosts of historical figures including a queen, a prince, and a nobleman; and several ghosts even shared their pain of death experience with him. On one occasion, the doppelganger of a loved one provided directions when he became lost while driving in the countryside due to a malfunctioning GPS. But not all of his encounters were of the human variety: there was also a very special visit from a canine ghost. This book is intended to be more than just a collection of personal ghost stories. In addition to relating his ghostly encounters, he has also included a short narrative history of the places where the experiences occurred. After all, knowing the history of a place is key to understanding why a ghost has decided to stay behind. So, join Rob as he relates his encounters with the ghosts of England. This is part of the author's "Ghosts on a Medium's Vacation” series. The author also has a "Pets and the Afterlife" series and "Ghosts and Spirits” series. OTHERS IN THE SERIES: Ghosts of Ireland and Ghosts of the Bird Cage Theatre History and travel buff's best guide to adding the paranormal to travel in England As late Summer fades into the glorious shades of Autumn and you are stuck at home during the no-travel pandemic, your thoughts naturally turn to travel! You remember the joy of planning that next trip to Europe, wishing you were going somewhere fun this year. Planning is half the fun, and what better time to plan than now?! If you are a British history or historical romance novel fan, you are in luck because you can experience the best of travel planning and have a great read on a lazy Sunday Fall afternoon, while thinking of Halloween, all in one with Rob Gutro's new book Ghosts of England: On a Medium's Vacation. This book blends English history, the supernatural, travel, and the paranormal. The matter-of-fact approach is a great travel guide that never frightens the reader but leaves the impression that it is quite natural and wonderful to find ghosts in residence in castles and houses in Great Britain since their eventful lives and often tragic deaths have shaped history. This is not an eat-here-sleep-there guide to getting value for your travel dollar. The aware, open-minded traveler may want to take time to seek to engage with the spirits in residence at many of these locations and do some background reading, too. So cozy-up with a pot of Earl Grey and a scone with your cat or dog snoozing happily, snug in a wooly throw, and get your travel-planning guide books together. Put this one on the top of the stack! A fun ghostly trip through England Having read some of Mr. Gutro's previous books, I think this one's my favorite! England is clearly a very historical location with a lot of very strong energy throughout. Some of the experiences described by Mr. Gutro and his husband are truly AMAZING and make me wish I could have been there to sense what they did. I particularly love that this book is about first hand accounts of his experiences - it makes it truly come to life. It's definitely a fun and thrilling read!
