Diana Philips has called Gibsonton, Florida, home for most of her life. Her family has a long and rich history in the business, and because of that, Diana started performing at the age of 3. Growing up amongst other show people in Gibtown, Diana took an interest in photography. She began taking pictures around Percilla Bejano's house, the monkey girls' house. This was after Percilla had come off the road. She was taking pictures of her dogs and plants. Diana decided to make a photo album for Percilla of the ones she’d taken. That’s when Percilla said, “Kid, you need to do something with this.” So, Diana entered the photos into the state fair, and I won a ribbon for each one. That’s when Percilla again told her that she needed to do something. Ever since then, Philips has been documenting her life living in the show capital of the world, Gibsonton, Florida.
