HAND-MADE IN USA: Everything in our line was designed by our talented design team. Our pendants and findings are plated in Rhode Island. All of the jewelry is hand assembled in our offices in Boston and Colorado. INSPIRED BY: The fan-shaped leaf of the ginkgo biloba tree. DETAILS: 2 inches long, and is made of durable high-quality pewter. HIGH QUALITY: We use jewelry elements that are composed of lead free, nickel free and cadmium free base metal plated with a nickel free 18k gold, antique gold, or silver finish. OVER 50 YEARS IN BUSINESS: Our artists recreate timeless designs from many remarkable art institutions to bring to the public what was once confined to museum walls. Each institution benefits directly from the sale of jewelry reproduced from their collections. We work closely with museums to create either an authentic reproduction or a piece inspired by their collections. The Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) has been present on Earth for nearly 60 million years and is considered a living fossil. It is the only survivor of a lineage that dates back to the time of the dinosaurs. Its native habitat is only in two small areas in eastern China, and it has been widely cultivated for centuries. Their uncommon leaf shape is similar to the maidenhair fern and is the source of one of its common names, Maidenhair Tree.
