Give Me Five! provides the guidance and tools necessary to implement five coach–teacher–principal collaborations that have improved mathematics instruction for hundreds of students. The Five Collaborations Strategic Planning Sessions - Mathematics Content Learning Team - Shared Classroom Experience - Mathematics Vertical Learning Team - The Ten-Minute Meeting The Collaborations in the Give Me Five! process are created to coexist with a school day, not add to it. When implemented correctly, they happen within and as close to the classroom as possible, and actually become a significant means to saving time and alleviating stress. Video Clips The online video clips and interviews invite you inside K–5 schools for a seeing-is-believing look at math coaches, teacher leaders, teachers, and principals collaborating in action. Clips range from 3 to 10 minutes with a total viewing time of approximately 2 hours. See page xxiii for video registration instructions.
