Glimmering Hour celebrates the thirty-fifth anniversary of Haiku Northwest, which began in Bellevue, Washington in 1988. This book focuses on 2014 to 2024, with 158 haiku and senryu by 68 members, plus eleven poets in our memorial section with an additional 44 poems. Each poet adds their personality and story to the organization, helping to complete the haiku circle. Sheila Sondik’s sumi paintings on crinkled paper augment the poems. Michael Dylan Welch introduces the book and Connie Hutchison provides an essay on Francine Porad, Haiku Northwest’s founder. This anthology affirms our history together as a glimmering hour, with more to come. List of Contributors: Munira Judith Avinger, J.B.
