Grace in War is the story of the Woodbury family as told through personal diaries and letters. It takes them through World War II and the impact the war had on all of their lives, both militarily and domestically. It highlights the sacrifices not only of the sons, who served in both the European and the Pacific theaters, but dives deeply into the sacrifices of the women that were left behind. The book also tells the actual history of the war to support the stories told in their personal writings.
