From an Illinois farm through the Orient aflame and the Old World in a Cold War, at the point of a supersonic spear; from the urban madness of Europe and America in corporate jets and limousines; from the delectable Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina to a mesa at the base of majestic Pikes Peak; and a seven-year fulltime RV Tour of God’s magnificent North American creation, it’s been uncommonly wonderful. This is my witness of God’s Amazing Grace in my life. The original versions of most of these stories first appeared as op-ed columns in The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, The Tampa Tribune, the St. Petersburg Times, Newsweek.com, World magazine, and PCANews.com. Some came from my blogs and the last two were delivered from pulpits across America. JD Wetterling is also the author of Son of Thunder , an air combat novel, In the Place of Justice , a novel,  and two nonfiction books, No Time to Waste,  true story of amazing grace, and "No one...," the gospel in Jesus' own words. He's had over 250 op-ed columns and essays published in The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, the St. Petersburg Times, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and numerous other periodicals. JD flew 268 combat missions in an F-100 in the Vietnam War, earning two Distinguished Flying  Crosses, fourteen Air Medals, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He was Top Gun in every fighter squadron in which he served in the U.S. Air Force. He's addressed audiences in all walks of life in all parts of America. His motivational messages cover current affairs, business, history, patriotic themes and eternal truths. His roots go back to a farm in western Illinois and a one-room country school where he was the only student in his class all eight years of grade school. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the University of Utah, summa cum laude. There have been multiple careers--USAF fighter pilot, businessman, speaker, and writer. He is the lifelong husband of Karen, father of two children and grandfather of five--the joy of his codgerhood. He's an elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).  He currently ministers to the shut-in saints at Grace Bible Presbyterian Church in Sharonville, OH.
