My story is not an easy one to tell, but it’s one I need to share. It’s a testimony of hope, perseverance, and faith. This is the story of a young man from Rosser, Texas, who grew up chasing adrenaline, making reckless choices, and believing he was invincible. It’s a story of hitting walls, enduring pain, and crying out in desperation when there seemed to be no way forward. But it’s also a story of healing. A story of forgiveness. A story of redemption through the transformative power of Jesus Christ. You see, my life hasn’t just been marked by trauma and addiction or reckless decisions and rock-bottom moments. It’s been marked by grace—unimaginable, undeserved grace. It’s been marked by second chances. By a family that loved me when I was at my worst and a God 9 who pursued me relentlessly, even when I wanted nothing to do with Him. Why am I sharing this story? Because someone out there needs to hear it. Maybe that someone is you. Maybe you feel like you’re too far gone, like you’ve made too many mistakes to ever find your way back. Maybe you’re drowning in addiction, guilt, or regret. Maybe you’re sitting in the wreckage of your choices, wondering if there’s still a chance for redemption. I want you to know something: there’s hope. No matter where you are, no matter what you’ve done, there is a way out. You can change. Your story doesn’t have to end where you are now. I’m living proof of that. I’m also sharing this story for another reason: to glorify the God who saved me.
