The poems in this volume deal with the natural environment in some way; they are about rock hounding, trees, flowers, & weeds, as well as remarkable places in Washington State, Alaska and Arizona, mostly discovering appreciation of things of nature, some-times directly, and sometimes indirectly. It is the author's that these verses will inspire you to get out into the “wild” and experience its wonder for yourself. While you’re at it, describe it in a poem. There really is nothing like it!
