In the 3rd Grateful Bob book of the series, Bobby learns to deal with bullies in school. He helps a smaller kid stand up to a bully and then also shows compassion for the bully and creates an unexpected friendship with the now former bully. Bobby's compassion and bravery bring together a small community and shows that, although kids really do bully other kids, they become "not real" when you take a stand together.
