"Not everyone meets in a graveyard. Most don't, in fact. We like to do so because it reminds us how close we all came to taking up permanent residency here ourselves. A lot of people find it depressing, but it's the exact opposite. Most of us get here knocking on the very edge of death, but if we're willing to do a few simple things and take a few simple suggestions, we become filled with life. And what better place for the joy of life to shine through in stark contrast to the death that was before us than in a graveyard? The sun always seems to shine a little brighter after a storm, don't you think?" I laugh. "That actually makes perfect sense to me, Spoons. With the life I've led, this is the absolute perfect place for me. I feel at home here." The laughter gets better. Spoons joins in. "I would be completely out of place in some goody-two-shoes slap happy place. Me and death, we've walked hand in hand for a long time now. We understand each other."
