A mysterious red light transports Tyler to another place in time. She meets her family 100 years before she was born. She spends a single day experiencing the highest of highs and the darkest of lows in the 20th Century south. Tyler bonds with her grandmother and gets to know her uniquely different great-aunts. Her admiration for her great-grandfather comes into question as he balances between two worlds. She begins to understand why survival was so inherently essential and a driving force in the life of her great-grandmother. this experience left Tyler with questions answered....questions left unaddressed.
