This course is designed to bring encouragement, hope, and practical guidance for women from all cultures through an in-depth study of God's living, active, and powerful Word (Heb 4:12). As women, we are God's image-bearers and His beloved daughters. Growing in godliness is the process of God's children, His image-bearers, becoming more like His Son, Jesus. Godliness is not about striving to achieve perfection; it is about growing according to the beauty of God's design through the power and strength of the Holy Spirit. In a world full of changing values and expectations, especially for women, Growing as a Godly Woman is filled with the Creator's unchanging truths for all ages and generations of women. This study will help you grow in a passionate, joyful, and fruitful pursuit of godliness so your life will testify to all generations of His love. In this course, we consider how to grow in godliness in every season: as a single woman, a wife, a mother, and an older woman. We finish by studying the season of eternity to form a clearer picture of the rewards and the glorious inheritance promised to us in the life to come. Throughout the study, we also look at true stories of women from the Bible called "Learning from Our Sisters." The women in these stories came from all walks of life: poor and rich, young and old, prostitutes and queens. Through these stories, we find courage and inspiration. The apostle Paul told Timothy, "… godliness is profitable for all things…for the present life and also for the life to come" (1 Tim 4:8, NASB). This means that godliness is valuable for our relationships, work, churches, and every area of our lives. It means that even our life to come in eternity is made better as we pursue growing in godliness. Indeed, this is among the greatest of all things we can pursue!
