She has written extensively on the liturgy for Liturgy Training Publications, and has contributed articles to Pastoral Liturgy®, Ministry and Liturgy, and other publications. She holds a doctorate in English from the University of Washington. Michael R. Prendergast has nearly fifty years experience as a musician and liturgist at the parish, cathedral, and diocesan levels. He is the former Liturgy Specialist and editor of Todays Liturgy at Oregon Catholic Press. A native of the diocese of Helena, Montana, Michael is an adjunct instructor in the Departments of Theology and Music at the University of Portland, serves as the coordinator of liturgy and music at St. Andrew Parish in Portland, OR and is the founder of Sacred Liturgy Ministries, a liturgical consulting firm. Michael has written on topics related to music and liturgy in several liturgical and pastoral journals. He is one of the compilers of LTPs Pronunciation Guide for the Lectionary: A Comprehensive Resource for Proclaimers of the Word, Second Edition. He holds a masters in theological studies from Mount Angel Seminary, St. Benedict, Oregon, and a master's in liturgical studies from St. Johns University in Collegeville, Minnesota. Joanne Sanders is the Director of Worship and Christian Initiation for Resurrection Catholic Church, in Wayne, Illinois. She also serves on the Diocesan Liturgy Board for the Diocese of Joliet. A workshop presenter and ministry consultant, she holds a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Illinois and a master of arts in pastoral studies with a concentration in Word and worship from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. She is the co-author, with Yvonne Cassa, of Groundwork: Planning Liturgical Seasons (LTP) and How To Form a Parish Liturgy Board (LTP). Along with Yvonne, she also wrote a liturgy preparation column in Celebration for several years. Joanne is a wife, mother, and grandmother and is indebted to all the liturgy committee members who have been an inspiration to her over the years. Paul Turner is the pastor of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Kansas City, Missouri, and the director of the Office of Divine Worship for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. He holds a doctorate in sacred theology from SantAnselmo in Rome and is the author of many pastoral and theological resources. He serves as a facilitator for the International Commission on English in the Liturgy.
