Hades, the Greek god of the Underworld, starts out as a baby being eaten by his Titan father, Cronos. With the help of his siblings he is able to escape once he is older, but Hades is so used to seclusion, he finds it hard to want to fit in with his siblings that are also gods. Alone in a cave, he is found by the nymph Metis, who is the girlfriend of Zeus. Metis and Hades, go on a adventure together to find the weapons and forged items that the Cyclops have made deep in the earth. These powerful items that the Cyclops have crafted will be essential in Zeus' war against Cronos and the other Titans. Hades must find courage in order to defend himself and those that he cares about, those that he calls friend. Hades, so used to isolation though, doesn't even know what a friend is, and he must explore that concept.
