This is a story based on the history of a city. Some liberties in events, and timeline have been taken. This story is written in a time older than I. A time I could only wish I lived, and grew up in. It is a story of three friends about the ages of 11 or 12. However, it is also an adult’s story, for adults much older than most adults today. For them, they will think back on their childhood, and life as it was so long ago. To enjoy this story, you either have to be old, maybe very old ! Or, a true lover of history. Its’ light reading, but is a lesson for those who never lived in, “the old days.”
