Welcome to “Hanukkah House Party”! This is a unique piano songbook and interactive theory concept book providing a fresh and interesting way for beginner piano students to master Chanukah melodies either at their lesson, or by working alone, at home. The 10 on-staff piano favorites (9 Chanukah plus 1 celebratory Hora) have 5-finger melodies passing through both hands, in middle C position. Educational information on the traditions, history, customs of Chanukah, are also included in this piano book, to enhance the entire Chanukah experience, along with some transcriptions from English to Hebrew. Here, the music learning process is fun! Students have help unlocking the challenges of a new piece with a fun “concept box” promoting independent thinking as they search for specific rhythms, accidentals, fingering, cross over notes, endings, repeat signs, form, dynamic symbols and musical terms.
