In 2014, this book received the international People's Book Award in 2014, the only literary award given based on reader votes. This follows the success of their previous two releases. Haunted Travels of Michigan I and Haunted Travels of Michigan II. A story from book two, The Holly Demon, was selected by SyFy Network's Paranormal Witness for airing. The adaptation was called Lady on the Stairs and aired Sept. 2013. Kat and Bev are professional speakers and have toured sharing their experiences in the paranormal. They have been featured speakers at major Michigan/Midwest conference. They are most proud of their work with Pure Michigan and have conducted live, on-line chats and blogs for Michigan's official travel and tourism site. To Bev and Kat, investigations are not just about the haunting but the history that may have created the haunting. They will spend months of historical research on one story.
