Dr. Bernard Jensen lectured throughout the U.S. and around the world about health and nutrition. Early on he would tape record his lectures and then later have them typed up into booklets. He would staple them together and sell them through mail order or at his lectures. There are 21 lecture reprint booklets. The information is as timely today as it was when he started teaching about right living in the early 1940's. I have edited, revised and added to the booklets, but left the flavor of that time period and his distinct voice comes through as the content reflects his speaking more than writing style. Forcing a child to play the piano when he does not have the aptitude, or the appreciation for music, may be a waste of time. Sometimes it is difficult for the parent to determine whether it is right or wrong to give piano lessons to his child. Many a child has grown to prominence in manhood and developed unusual abilities, not on the foundation that he got from his parents or schooling, but from influences outside of home and school training. The teaching of politeness and amiability has to start with the parent. The parent has to put his best foot forward and after all it should be vice versa. Selfishness is one thing which must be handled early in life. There are certain things we can be selfish about. There are certain things we can claim as our own but let us look at it from the adult stage first.
