Heart of Stars : From "The Force of Destiny" to " For the Grace of God” In the story of "Heart of Stars", the second part, subtitled "For the Grace of God", is set in 2009, some 25 years after "The force of Destiny". It begins in Boston, where Doctor Christian Massa lives with his wife Marie-Eve and their three children, Leia, Luke, and Annabelle. Luke and Annabelle were born in Boston after their older sister, Leia, who was born in France in 1983. She is the daughter of Christian and Jasmine, Christian’s first wife who died in childbirth under dramatic circumstances. 25 years passed quietly and happily. Sky was bright. No clouds, just shiny stars made of beautiful hearts. Heart of Stars? Not quite sure hings are about to change. This new story brings back some characters from the past, including a particularly evil one, a fanatic. Terrible things are going to happen. Another September 11 is looming…In America? in France? You can discover “For the Grace of God” without having read “ The Force of Destiny ,” but I'd advise you to read the two parts in order.
