In the distant future Lord Zahhak rules the world through Inquisition. After the annual pilgrimage in the city of Grand Karbala, Chief Inquisitor Rehan is called to the causeway to investigate a string of suspicious murders. As the investigation advances Rehan must discover the truth behind these deaths and maintain order in the city. He realizes that his only lead lies within the infamous walled ghetto known as Heretic's Row. This dystopian fantasy graphic novel is completely hand drawn, hand painted, and artistically tailored to best reflect its speculative portrayal of humanity's future in relation to it's ancient roots of theocracy and mythology. This novel serves as a love letter to middle eastern culture, philosophy, and art; as well as a stark warning of humanity's greed for power and zealously to the extent of dominion over one's fellow human being. As one of the most controversial comics to be produced in the twenty-first century, it was written and drawn in such a way that takes the reader to places where they wouldn't normally be comfortable, yet has them sit in awe at the artwork and the ideas the story conveys to them through it's plot and characters.
