THE CREATION Eau de citron noir was created in 2018 by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel. It presents an elegant and surprising freshness that reveals the paradoxes of a citrus fruit known and loved by all: lemon. A sophisticated composition full of contrast. OLFACTORY NOTES A citrus woody fragrance, Eau de citron noir cologne combines sharp lemon and a woody black tea with smoky notes of guaiac wood. THE OBJECT The iconic lantern bottle is adorned with a deep blue hue and the orange box is sealed with a blue band. Finger lime, Buddha's hand fruit, Eureka lemon... So many unusual varieties of citrus appealed to me, but it was the smoky and distinguished black lime that finally stood out as the key note.
