How to Replace the Johnson/Evinrude VRO Fuel Pump

• The yellow arrows in the illustration indicate the fuel flow direction.
• A fuel hose is included to replace the original hose from the vapor tank outlet to the fuel inlet on the new pump, if the original hose is too short.
• Match the two original hoses (fuel-in and pulse line) to the corresponding ports on the new pump.
• The fuel-out hose on the new pump includes a fitting that matches the VRO output.
• Mount the new pump on the existing bracket, ensuring the fuel-out fitting aligns with the original VRO output port on the bracket.

No Modifications Required

The original VRO fuel pump bracket remains unchanged for V4 mounting. Once installed, simply plug the hose fitting into the designated spot in place of the old VRO pump fitting.
