Absolutely not. I hate them. Every book in the Duncurra series stands alone and each book has an HEA. Characters from the other books do appear in them.  Can the books be read in any order? Yes. Although I recommend reading Highland Solution first, to avoid spoilers for it that might be in the other books. Highland Courage and Highland Intrigue take place during the same time, in different locations. They do not build on each other. Are the Duncurra books clean? In my opinion, "clean" is in the eyes of the beholder. There are a few, brief, intimate scenes between married adults. If you prefer very steamy books, you might be disappointed. However, if you prefer a closed bedroom door, Inspirational versions of the Duncurra series are available. All intimate scenes have been removed from these. What is the Duncurra Legacy series? Duncurra Legacy novels continue the stories of characters who were children in the Duncurra series. Highland Redemption follows Tomas MacIan (from Highland Solution). A Wee Highland Predicament follows Ailsa MacLennan (from Highland Intrigue).  What is the Fated Hearts series? Fated hearts are stand alone Scottish historical romances set in the same world as Duncurra, but twenty years earlier.  What are the Pocket Watch Chronicles? The Pocket Watch Chronicles are time travel romances. They are set in the same world as the  Duncurra  and  Fated Hearts  series. Ceci started her career as an oncology nurse at a leading research hospital, and eventually became a successful medical writer. In 1991 she married a young Irish carpenter who she met at a friend's wedding. They raised their family in central New Jersey and currently reside in southwest Florida.
