Beechwood bits, made from high-hardness North American beech, are perfect for fine polishing, giving leather edges a smooth and natural shine. Unlike overly smooth ebony bits, our beechwood bits have a slightly rougher surface that provides both sanding and polishing effects.
Rubber bits are ideal for initial sanding, removing burrs, and eliminating glue residue. Each bit is designed with specific grooves (3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm,8mm) for different leather thicknesses, and a cone-shaped bit for special leather edge shapes. Use these bits with standard small high-speed rotary tools with a shank diameter of 1/8 inch or 3mm.
For optimal results, it is recommended to use the bits at 10,000 RPM ± 30%. Lower speeds may not achieve desired effects, while higher speeds can cause vibration and bit damage.
