Educator, Singer, Songwriter and Actress, Shannan Tubbs, is passionate about exhausting her gifts of service. She has had the pleasure of sharing big stages with some of her favorite music artists. Previously, while working for a school District in Georgia, Shannan was awarded for overturning state-wide reading test scores. Children who were unable to read, or were reading far below their presenting reading levels gained astronomical growth...as much as a 98% success rate. This was accomplished through what she calls the "power of edutainment". Later, after a bold move to California, 'History is A Part of Me' was a concept adopted from a song she was commissioned to write titled "I Am Somebody". Never had she imagined there were so many black inventors. While researching, she grew emotional as the rabbit hole grew deeper. Shannan knew that this particular pursuit was a purpose-filled assignment alongside music. Nothing offers sheer affirmation more than seeing families and classrooms from all over praise the efforts of this generational tool. It increases awareness, boosts self-confidence, sparks imagination, with a potent focus on the importance of seeing a need and filling the void; therefore fostering more problem solvers. When she is not performing or writing, Shannan also consults other indie artists on various topics relating to their frustrations navigating the music business. Included within her extensive resume in entertainment, is a certification in Music Business Entrepreneurship. Shannan works to empower artists with an emphasis on sustainability. Her productions of live paint n poetry events in Los Angeles are cultivated to highlight creative gifts from God.
