Qoyska (Family) is a series of five books that we created to help children learn to read the Somali language by reading stories about family life and family values. Each book is illustrated with stunningly beautiful pictures of Somali traditional attires. By creating stories that children could relate to, we thought it would encourage parents to want to read with their young ones. The books are great to read for all children starting with pre-schoolers and for older students of all reading-levels who are learning the language.
