This bundle includes 3 items: (1) Hypro 3350-0043P Nylon Line Strainer with (1) 1700-0044 Buna O-Ring and (1) 3800-0029 Stainless Steel 20 Mesh Screen.
The Hypro 3350 Series Line Strainers / Suction Strainers filter out debris that may be drawn into your pump. They are designed for suction and higher pressure applications, capable of achieving up to 150 psi at 70° F and 100 psi at 125° F. The cap on the Hypro 3350-0043P is made of white type 6 nylon, while the bowl is made with clear polyamide material to allow for visual inspection without disassembling.
The line strainer should be installed on the pump's inlet side. If a centrifugal pump is used, install the line strainer on the inlet or discharge side, keeping in mind the strainer's flow capacity, pressure rating, and other installation factors must be considered. NOTE: Clear polyamide bowls are NOT for handling alcohol.
To clean the strainer without removing it from the line just unscrew the bowl from the cap, remove the screen, and flush away sediment. Then fit the screen to the flange in the bowl and turn tight to reassemble. NOTE: Do not use for fatigue-loading applications (eg. water-softeners).
