To let the reader know, this is a very redundant book with the Word of Truth. Like a cheerleader, cheering for a team, they cheer the main theme of winning and overcoming. Therefore, be forewarned that if you aren't happy with the repetition of the Word of Truth regarding how we overcome in Christ Jesus, enter God's promises, and are refined, you don't need to purchase this. This is my simplest book yet, compared to my more thorough teachings of scripture, applying the sciences. I Hear the Father Saying is a collection of posts and writings of Robin Kirby-Gatto, over the course of fourteen years. Robin walks in the grace of Romans 12:8, with the gift of exhortation, to encourage the saints of God in their race of faith. Within this book, is a collection of words of encouragement from God, along with prayers, and declarations. Robin depicts herself as “God’s militant cheerleader.” This comes from her experience in cheerleading for high school football, constantly having cheered more toward the football players on the field than the fans in the stands. One of the most impactful moments in her life occurred at a high school football game. It started out with a long ride in the “sticks.” The closer the bus got to the other school; an ominous black fog appeared. Upon arrival the black fog could be seen hovering above the field. She’d never seen this black fog before, something didn’t seem right. As usual, she was the only cheerleader running with the football players up and down the field. Her team got into the endzone and failed at a touchdown. At the end of the play, both teams walked off the field, when then a football player from the other school extended his hand to brush his teammate and missed. His body became limp, and the player dropped on the ground. Everyone else was down at the right hand of the field, where the bleachers were pitched up on the cow pasture. Time stood still, as she watched the attempted brush in slow motion, the hard fall, and then turned to see if anyone noticed. No one saw. Robin stepped onto the field, screaming for help. People ran to assist, surrounding the player on the ground. The game paused. In time, the medics came and made several attempts to revive the player, who later died that night. The black fog was the darkness Robin perceived that came to take the young man’s life. This incident forever seared into her conscience, is what compels Robin by the Spirit of the Lord, to encourage the saints, not knowing who it is that might be battling in the faith. Her hope is to push back darkness and bring the Light of Christ. This book will inspire, encourage, and exhilarate you.
