ERIN GUENDELSBERGER is the NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling author of LITTLE RED SLEIGH and writes children’s stories and poems. She studied writing at Hamline University and Bowling Green State University and now pursues adventure in Ohio with her husband, daughters, and a cat named Hennimore. Barry Goldberg has worked as a professional artist/illustrator for over 25 years. He got his big break working at Neal Adams Continuity studio in NYC. He then worked as a freelance illustrator, a colorist at DC Comics, illustrating packaging for toy companies including Nintendo, Mattel, and Fisher Price. He has illustrated over 200 picture books mostly based on popular children’s TV shows such as….Sesame Street, the Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Scholastic, and the Henson Company. In 2006, he accepted a position as Character Art Director/Head Illustrator at H.I.T Entertainment where he oversaw all character art relating to Thomas the Tank Engine, Barney, and Bob the Builder. In 2013, Barry was offered a position at Sesame Workshop, to be on staff as one of the Character Artists drawing Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and the rest of the gang. Currently he has been mostly illustrating Sesame Street picture books. Recently, after many years of mostly working digitally Barry returned to paint on canvas and his work is on exhibit at The Walnut Gallery in Longmont, CO. Barry lives on Long Island, New York with his wife, who is a public school teacher. They have three grown children: 2 artists, 1 normal.
